I can't believe they made toys of THAT.

If you remember me marveling at the White Lantern Sinestro toy, prepare to watch me astonishate again... because they also made cute li'l chibi-figs of Tomar Re, Atrocitus and Yellow Lantern Low.

Are we rapidly approaching Full Spectrum Lanterns in the Action League line?

Low. Low. Now available in your local toy aisle. Big props to the toyco for not finding an excuse to slam another Batman into half of these Lantern two-packs.

I may be crazy, but I think the Action League sculpts are drifting away from the angular style inspired by the faltering Brave and the Bold cartoon. There's a Batman/Joker two-pack in the same line as these Lantern packs that is much more traditionally presented.

The packaging, however, is full of chubby hero line art... very much like the Marvel Super Hero Squad art, although just a smidge shy of making the characters look like babies. The usual DC suspects grace the cardboard, most of whom have yet to appear in Action League toy form, like Wonder Woman and Martian Manhunter. One unanticipated character is in the mix, Guardian... who also does not have a toy, yet he appears on the backer while even more obscure fellows like Low and Deathstorm become figs. Crazy.

Shit, I didn't even know the dude's name was Low, and I probably own every single comic he's ever appeared in.

Note that those Lantern two-packs appear to be inside my home. This should not be unexpected.
