Animal Crossing Log

 I'm on the run. New name, new town, new life. They call me JoeForever (spelled J-o-e-infinity symbol) and I have just moved into Adamsvil, a town in Animal Crossing.
At approximately 10:00pm September 17th, I left the big city and began to melt into the countryside. On the train to Adamsvil, I met a simple cat named Rover. Already I am suspicious... a cat with a dog's name? When I reveal that I have no place to live, he slips to the back of the car and calls a "friend" of his named Tom Nook. Sounds like a scam, and when I meet Tom, I figure out why. My new crib costs 18,000 Bells, and Nook expects me to work for him to pay it off.
Nook sets me up with all sorts of stupid jobs, most of which require running back and forth across town delivering things. In between errands, I introduce myself to the other townsfolk. I let them do all the talking so they'll like me and not ask too many personal questions. Nobody locks their doors here, so I've been poking around looking for things to steal. But everybody has junk they want to offload, so I've been willingly accepting gifts with the idea of selling high later. To keep up appearances, I even visited the Police Station. The patrol officer seems sharp, but the desk clerk inside is a fool. I cleaned out his Lost and Found box. I've also travelled to a small island to the south, Dred Island. There's an abandoned shack there I plan to use as a safehouse, in case I need to hide out again.
I've been compulsively collecting seashells, and now my house is full of them. My radio is blasting a ska tune, but I have no neighbors closeby, so I doubt anyone will complain. At about midnight, old Nook calls me in and tells me he has no more work for me. So I figure, this is it, only one of us is getting out of here alive... but he laughs and says he's willing to buy stuff from me now. I briefly consider clubbing him and heading to Dred Island with that Space Shuttle model he has in the back, but then I consider the value of my seashell collection... |

Grrr. I'll be honest. Adamsvil stinks for fish. I know everything is great in Holliday where fish just jump out of the water onto your inventory screen... but at least my town has been perfect for months, where yours is only satisfactory.

I love this diary! Your creative way of "taking control" of Adamsvil makes the game even more fun. I did the same kind of thing, only I was Saruman and distributing White Hand textures. :D Anyway, I loved what you said at the end of this diary, about Action Replay and how many users ruined the fun for themselves by skipping ahead. It's nice to see a real-time player still around, who hasn't succumb to the dark side of Animal Crossing in AR, TTing, and UCs. Nice diary, I'll be looking forward to more!

I love your pics! I play animal crossing alot. Your diary entries are also very detailed and funny! This is a great site for any AC and Pokemon fans. I will definetely show this to other people I know. Thanks for having it up!

That was beautiful! All the intelligent text, the great plot that you ran through the game and even telling off the cheaters! You are a true gamer, don't forget all the perfect times with Animal Crossing... catching your first fish, seeing Nookington's on it's opening day, and even meeting that crazy ghost Whisp. Always remember that Nintendo has what you want. And now, let's sit back and wait for the next Animal Crossing.

JoeForever your diaries rock out loud. I've been reading your entries from the first time I started and they inspired me to build my town kinda like yours(Even I'm wearing the Noble Shirt.) I've declared myself High Inquisitor of my town. Since Generalissimo Cobb is gone how does Generalissimo David sound? Keep them coming. Kudos

Hey Joe! Have you heard of the DUMMY item? You can only get it from Igloo games. Try getting three and arranging them in triangle fashion and it will look like the Triforce from the Zelda series!

Hey Joe It's me again. You know, I have noticed that not very people add comments to the Animal Crossing message board and that really sucks because it's such a great game. Also I like the Pokemon Saphire board/diaries. They are pretty funny. I have been reading Your Animal Crossing diaries thouroghly and they have convinced that cheating isn't very fun. I feel real guilty that I have already jumped to every event and took all the Special items. That sucks because no more surprises for me (except for Animal Island and the dusty cobwebbed unused ETM at the post office). Now onto business. I regret to inform you that I (to my knowledge) have discovered that the only way to obtain Super Mario Bros. and The Legend of Zelda is to use an action replay device (is that and a Gameshark the same thing, not that I use either)? Also I own Station Model 7 and a Well. Seeing as how you own nearly every item I have one request, a Modern end table. If not than I request the NES game "Pinball". Please inform me via E-Mail if you are interested.

RhondaCat you could get Wisp the Midnight to 4 AM ghost to pick the weeds for you. Although you need to catch the 5 spirits for him. Just wander through the various acres at the time mentioned above until he speaks to you. His appearance is random.

The DUMMY is something that was used in testing, but was not fully removed from the game. Go to Wikipedia and type in "Animal Crossing" (minus the quote marks), go to glitches and bugs, and that'll have some info.
